Columns return

Thanks to the work of Sumrall Construction and Douglas Machine Shop, the Spring Street Museum's three columns, which were damaged in a December 2006 car accident, have been repaired and replaced.

The columns, which had been broken into several pieces, were patched together, and a metal pole was inserted into the center of each. The bricks at the base were repaired, as visible in the photo shown here.
